About Me

Laura Agadoni
You could say that I came by the writing profession naturally – my mother was a short story writer and an editor; my father was a technical writer. One of my early memories was playing with the next-door-neighbor – we were 4 years old – and declaring that I wished I could write down everything I was thinking, if only I understood how to write.
The years passed, and I devoted my time to just that, understanding how to write. I graduated college with a degree in journalism and public relations. After working as a community editor for a local California newspaper and then as a marketing coordinator for a school credit union, I married and decided to devote my life to raising a family.
In recent years, I’ve come back to my roots and have written for my local paper once again (this time in Georgia), and I currently write for print and online magazines. My specialties are articles on finance, parenting and health for families and young adults. I not only draw on my own experiences, I use my research and interview skills to find the best information to present to readers.
In my spare time, I love to play tennis, cook, read novels and take my dogs on long walks. I also love freelance writing. Please visit my portfolio. If I can help you with any of your copywriting projects, contact me at laura@lauraagadoni.com.
